The surfaces you notice every day
Floors, walls and trim are what people see and touch most, and they are where rushed work shows. A floor laid over an uneven subfloor squeaks within a year; paint over unfilled gaps cracks along every joint. Good finishing is mostly preparation.
We take this work on as a project in its own right, such as new floors through the ground level or a full repaint, and as the closing stage of every kitchen and bathroom we remodel.
What we finish
- Wood floorsSolid and engineered hardwood, laid on a flattened, dry subfloor, with transitions planned at every doorway.
- Tile and stoneEntryways, kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms, with the layout set out before the first tile so cuts fall where they will not show.
- Luxury vinyl plankA water-resistant option for basements, kitchens and busy family rooms.
- Interior paintingWalls, ceilings, doors and trim, with filling, sanding and priming done first, and help choosing colours if you want it.
- Trim and mouldingsNew baseboards, door and window casings and crown moulding, or repairs that match what is already there.
Done last, done carefully
On a larger project, floors and paint come after the dusty work is over, so they are not damaged by the trades before them. We protect them until the walk-through, then remove the covering in front of you.
